two women, dressed in their finest, were having lunch together in an exclusive restaurant. a friend saw them and came over to their table to greet them. " what's the special occasion?" she asked. one of the women said: "we're having a birthday party for the baby in the family. he is 2 years old today." "but where is the baby?" the friend asked. the child's mother answered. " oh i dropped him off at my mother's house. she is taking care of him until the party is over. it wouldn't have been fun with him along."

it is very ridiculous that it's a party for you yet you are not welcomed.
actually to think about it, how many of us celebrated events with their true meaning?
take for instance, Christmas. party going on, shopping, gift exchanging and family gathering. but have we really celebrated God's birthday? in the times of fun, we actually forget the true meaning behind these celebration.
it is the same for Chinese New Year, is not just about red packets, gathering etc. is more about giving your blessing to the ones that you've not seen for a long time. even a birthday party can be misleading.
i wrote this post because i feel that we often miss out the main point/reason of these celebration. it does hurts alot if it's your birthday yet it's being celebrated without any meaning.
so celebrate this Christmas with Christ in your heart. dont forgo Him, but celebrate with Him.
and i promise i'll celebrate everyone's birthday with them in my heart, not just for the sake of fun.
that's all peeps. is kinda long but it holds deep meaning right? sometimes just a simple word can hold deeper meaning than what it seems to be. well is all up to us to explore these meanings.
accept it.
and embrace it with much more love.
